Kent W. Hamlin
 

Kent W. Hamlin is President of KWH Associates, LLC. In March 2010, he retired from the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations after nearly 28 years of service. His last six years at INPO he was the Director, Accreditation, responsible for the industry’s accreditation program. During his INPO career he held a variety of management positions including Director of Nuclear Safety while on loan to the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station, and Deputy Director of the World Association of Nuclear Operators. He also has worked for American Nuclear Insurers, Combustion Engineering, and the U.S. Navy. He retired from the Navy as a Captain. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from the University of Connecticut, and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard University. Mr. Hamlin is a registered Professional Engineer (Nuclear) in the State of New Hampshire. He has been an American Nuclear Society member since 1976 and served as chairman of its Education and Training Division. He was awarded the ANS Training Excellence Award in 2009. Mr. Hamlin continues to serve as a Commissioner on the Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, the organization that accredits college and university technology and engineering programs.

John T. Carlin
 

John Carlin is the Site Vice President at R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant in Ontario, New York. He is responsible for the plant’s safe, reliable and economic operation.
Mr. Carlin joined CENG in 2006 as vice president, nuclear technical services, responsible for the oversight of nuclear engineering, fuel, probabilistic risk assessment, licensing and environmental functional areas.

Mr. Carlin came to Constellation Energy from the Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), where he served as the Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services as well as the Vice President of Nuclear Assurance. Prior to that, he served as Vice President of Generation Support for Northeast Utilities.

Mr. Carlin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Science from University of the State of New York and a Master of Business Administration from National University. He served in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program from 1976 - 1982. Mr. Carlin has held senior leadership roles while working in all aspects of operations, training and engineering at several nuclear facilities. He has held senior reactor license and certifications on both boiling and pressurized water reactors.

Mr. Carlin is married, living in Pittsford New York with his wife and three children.
