Is anyone using "pre-training" to increase the efficiency of classroom training time? i.e. offering some form of self-paced study materials or online learning modules prior to continuing training to ensure everyone is on the same level prior to entering the classroom (so that you don't spend time teaching to the "lowest common denominator"). I've tried this a few times and would like to hear of other trainers' experiences (good and bad) with this technique.
