We've been doing desktop testing for a few years now. The GET, RadWorker and quite a few other knowledge based courses and exams are available at anyone's LAN connected PC. We use proctors to ensure the test is properly taken. The proctor authorizes the exam after the test-taker logs in. Becoming a proctor is fairly easy and there are some in each department.
