To my esteemed colleagues,
I am presently benchmarking our industry for to learn just how much of our (trainers) time is spent performing actual instructor duties, and how much is spent performing other tasks that are not directly related to training/learning. These other tasks include administrative tasks, plant/outage support if you're facility requires you to participate, and emergent tasks. Please respond to the following 5 questions.
1. What percent of your time is spent preparing for your classroom presentations?
2. What percent of your time is spent teaching in the classroom?
3. What percent of your time is spent supporting on-the-job-training/evaluation?
4. What percent of your time is spent doing administrative work regardless of whether or not it directly supports the TSD process (ie. all admin work).
5. What percent of your time is spent supporting your station (ie. outage support, maintenance, etc.)?
Your feedback/answers to these questions will greatly help me in my benchmarking endeavors.
Thanks
Lee Spicer
